I shot this documentary image in Hollywood while attending college in the early 80’s. I have always loved it, and the Game gives me an opportunity to have it be seen in the light of day. Spiral Shadows

My take-away from Robert’s sweet image for the Game was the spiral twists of the red vines. We are in Montana, so my props were limited. I really liked Robert’s image “Six O Eight”, it has beautiful lines, light and negative space. My “Conversation” (link to new book) with his image speaks to the lines and forms present in his capture, although in a more high key manner. I thought that flipping the tonality of the image – from shadow to light []


Side Trip

After seeing Roberts image, “Field of Dreams” for the Daily Photo Game, I immediately knew what I was going to play in response, my image titled: “Side Trip”. This photograph was produced on our first trip to Portland to shop for real estate, when we decided it was time to relocate and leave our Montana house remodel []


Windblown Woman

My response to Robert’s cool hood ornament image is perhaps a bit more playful than some of my previous submissions to the game. My other options for today’s submission actually fit better stylistically, but the game, for me, is about having some fun with imagery as well.
