The lake house that Russ Widstrand is offering is a top ten deal! The house was beautifully restored by the Widstrands, and was featured in Sunset Magazine, as it was done so well. The location is incredible, up on a hill overlooking Flathead Lake, with a short walk to the lake, where there is a gorgeous patio/dock on the water!

Glacier National Park is nearby and is well worth the drive to see, and hike the trails.

There are islands in the lake, where one can see longhorn sheep and go for a hike. A boat rental business is a few miles from the lake house. The yards are huge, allowing for wildlife viewing of resident deer, or playing croquet.

The house faces east and one can watch the sun or moon rise over the lake.

We spent a Fourth of July here, and it is one of our fondest memories!

Hope you get to participate in this great deal!

    What a brilliant idea!

Your cabin is just beautiful, and the lake setting looks so inviting.

I hope to have something come up so we can take advantage of such a generous and unique offer.

The house is great! My family stayed there a couple of years ago and it was a fabulous house with easy access to the lake. It was wonderfully relaxing and served as a gateway stop to Glacier National Park and a continued journey into Canada.

Thanks for sending along the info on your new website. It looks great.
Also, what a great idea to offer a 5 night vacation in Montana on Flathead Lake.
Anyone who is looking for a really gifted photographer will be delighted with the vacation offer.
I loved staying at the cabin and we would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Montana.
The cabin is really comfortable, and the view out over the lake is worth the drive. It is a spectacular place.

We have stayed at the Widstrands’ lake house every summer for the past six summers. We are looking forward to our seventh stay this July. Needless to say we love everything about our sojourns at Flathead Lake. The house is spacious and comfortable and perfect for entertaining out of town guests. It has become the gathering place for our family and friends to look forward to every year. The setting is beautiful and tranquil with abundant opportunities for viewing wildlife. There are eagles, deer with their fawns and a variety of birds to keep us company while we’re there. Every year when we return to the lake house we sigh and feel like we’re home again.

  7. Hey!

I’ve been to Montana as well and it is awesome, like Russ’ professional work. But this blog is just as cool. Have you seen this photo game these guys have going? Some very good photography going on and Russ’s images are top notch. Google Russ Widstrand sometime and see what he has done. Keep it up.
